Work
Design has been my passion for as long as I can remember. With nearly 10 years in the industry, I have spent my career specializing in residential remodeling and interior design. I get great fulfillment sharing my passion and creativity with my clients, and I pride myself in educating them about product knowledge, space planning, and storage ideas.
I have always enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, whether it’s cooking, baking, grilling, or just socializing with family and friends. This love for all things kitchen has actually made me a better designer, as I understand what makes for a beautiful showpiece and a practical working space at once. In many ways, I suppose design is like a recipe; but instead of sugar, flour and chocolate, my ingredients are cabinets, textiles and great lighting!
I take great care and in focusing on the details — they truly make or break the design! In college, I specialized in detailed millwork design. You might be surprised how millwork can really complete the space!
To further my education, to keep active in networking, and to stay current in the industry, I attend various NKBA and IDS meetings, so I can always pass along the latest trends and creative ideas to my clients.
Play
When I am not designing, you can find me in a few spots: playing with my dog outside, reading a good book in my sunroom, in the kitchen cooking and baking, or outside grilling. I also enjoy playing volleyball, drawing and painting, and photography!
